Here’s the inked Ryu piece. I’m overall very happy with the results. This is my first piece utilizing 3 point perspective for the Suzaku Castle in the background. I will say that I think the detail on the floor boards took way longer. My right hand was screaming in pain after that. The final result was completely worth the sacrifice 😂. With that said, I can’t wait to show the colored piece cause it’ll definitely make this even better. I’ve been wanting show my appreciation for this series for a long time and I’m finally excited to get around to it. I’ll be drawing characters from the street fighter series. Specifically Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting (So I don’t drag this little marathon out too long 😅 because I’m aware there’s over 40 characters now) The first character and main protagonist of the series I’ll be doing is Ryu. I really like Ryu’s design and he also dawned the iconic Hadoken pose. The backgrounds I’ll be doing for these characters are their stages associated with them. In this instance, The background will be Ryu’s stage which is Suzaku Castle. One thing to note is that these drawings may take longer than the usual 3 days because there are more details that I want incorporate into the background so if I skip a day of posting you’ll know why.
