Ryuji: Hi.. I'm Ryuji Imaichi.. I'd like to proceed to answer 50 questions..

Question 1: what has changed the most from your debut days 10 years ago and today? 17/female/Tokyo

Ryuji: Hmmm..Hair color..

Question 2: In the last 10 years at what moment did you feel happiest? 25/female/shiga

Ryuji: I continue to feel lots of happiness but.. this is hard.. Japan record awards..

Question 3: Ryuji-kun is very stoic not only in singing but all things including staying in shape which sends out the image that you are hard on yourself. What words of positive acknowledgement would you give yourself looking back on the last 10 years? 32/female/yamaguchi

Ryuji: Well, in most cases.. I feel that time is what takes care of these things..

Ryuji: Well.. it was my personal dream as well but.. may it be family or friends.. I had many people around me that kept me going..so.. I want their dreams and wishes to come true as well..it wasn't just my dream that got me here, so.. those are the thoughts I have always held dearest.. and now.. that it's really been 10 years.. I'm where I am today thanks to all that cheered me on.. so today, I hold my fans' thoughts and wishes most important..

Question 7: If you were to express the last 10 years using only 1 kanji character, what would it be? 17/male/Fukuoka

Ryuji: Life 命 (smiles)

Question 8: How does Ryuji-kun usually think of and preserve lyrics and melodies? When are the moments the lyrics come to you? 45/female/Fukuoka

Ryuji: for melodies for the most part I work on it when we're in the studio.. in regards to lyrics.. usually within my daily life.. if I come up with something I do jot it down on my phone..so.. at any unsuspected moments like when I'm riding on the bullet train or on a plane.. I'm sure you understand..

Question 9: out of the lyrics you have written, which phrase is your favourite? 19/female/Chiba

Ryuji: These most something or favourite something questions are really hard.. in my solo work there is a song called talkin' bout love..the 'hook' part of the song which is at the end of the chorus.."if you follow your heart, your wishes will come true" is the phrase that I like..

p/s the phrase is "その想い貫けば願いは叶うから" it's the phrase on Ryuji's RILY Stadium Jumper

Question 10: was there a song that really resonated with your heart? 32/female/Shizuoka

Ryuji: this is a long time ago..EXILE released an album called EXILE entertainment.. back then.. I believe I was in high school but.. the very last song of the album.. song called M&A.. it felt as if a lightning bolt ran right through me.. that sure resonated.. yes it did..

Question 11: Up until now you have played the piano and drums at your live performances but is there a new instrument that you would like to challenge? 19/female/Aichi

Ryuji: saxophone 🎷

Question 13: how do you get ready before going on stage? please tell me your routine. 23/female/MALAYSIA

Ryuji: Malaysia.. (smiles then waved cutely at camera) that makes me happy.. I stretch.. and I also try to work up a sweat on the spinner..

Question 14: up until now.. when was your favourite costume from? 23/female/Tokyo

Ryuji: I really liked the opening costume from unknown metropoliz.. it was a red.. ambush.. a bit irregular kind of costume..

Question 15: do you have any obsessions with your taste in your personal clothes? 23/male/Tokyo

Ryuji: Lately, it's all been about how comfortable it is.. I think that's where it's at.. and lately I'm resurging into vintage clothing again..

Ryuji: Perfume..

Question 17: It feels as though you don't sweat during your live performances and you alone have the expression of being nice and cool. Do you not sweat? (It feels as though previously you used to sweat..) 59/female/Aichi

Ryuji: isn't that because of your genetic makeup? The other members are sweating buckets but.. I just don't sweat.. I don't think I did before neither.. genetic makeup..

Question 18: your hand that holds the microphone when you sing opens and closes quite visually but is that a habit? 15/female/Chiba

Ryuji: like this? (clasp and unclasp his hand with a huge smile) I didn't used to do it but recently.. from time to time.. I catch myself doing it.. I guess it's a habit.. What is it? I think it's to somehow prevent me from getting nervous..

Question 19: if you catch a cold and can't move.. if you were going to be taken care of by a member, who would it be? 40/female/Nara

Ryuji: none of them.. (giggles) none..

Question 20: episodes that have never been shared till now or any unusual episodes of members I would like to know! 47/female/Kanagawa

Ryuji: Just recently me, naoto-san and kenchan.. we are on a digital detox..

Question 21: what is the talent that you would like to have from each individual member? 40/female/kumamoto

Ryuji: I'd say Elly..Elly's expressiveness..

Question 22: have you had a chance to play baseball recently? Which members do you think are good baseball players within EXILE TRIBE? 33/female/Indonesia

Ryuji: This is Elly..Hands down.. he has the skills to have turned pro..

Question 23: When we think of Ryuji-kun, we think of the body from THE KAN..but.. is there a member that you work out with? Also, which muscle do you like working on? 22/Male/Osake

Ryuji: there isn't a fellow member that I work out with.. basically, we're all on our own.. but I frequently run into Naoto-san and Makidai-san at the gym.. which muscle do you like working on? I think my back.. the latissimus dorsi muscle.. I like to work on.. working on your back also gives you good posture so I like it..

Question 24: do you have a morning routine? 18/female/kumamoto

Ryuji: lately, it's been not to touch the cell phone..

Question 25: how long is your bath time? 19/female/Saitama

Ryuji: if I were to take a bath, I'd say about 20 minutes..

Question 26: can you do housework? Especially, I can't picture you doing laundry. Can you use the washing machine? And also, can you dry them? 40/female/Tokyo

Ryuji: (laughs) of course I can.. I do my laundry and hang them up to dry (laughs again)

Question 27: When you wake up in the morning, what do you think of initially? What should I eat today? Or if the weather is nice? I apologise for the childish question lolol.. 49/female/Saitama

Ryuji: what am I thinking of? my throat feels a bit rough.. I may be thinking of my throat conditions.. like.. it feels a bit refreshed today..

Ryuji: Recently, I purchased a painting that Hiroshi Nagai-san had painted.. I love the feel of it..

Ryuji: Car..Large Motorcycle.. mid-size license as well.. pressure welding.. chief electrical engineer type 3.. sword sharpener.. high height worker.. I have a bunch.. also.. slinging (hanging and removing objects from a crane)..I'm sure I have 2 or 3 more..crane.. I have at least 10.. what else did I have? 10..

Ryuji: Ie-kei (home-style) I think..Ie-kei and..but I also like Hokkaido ramen as well..I like it all..we'll just keep it at Ie-kei..

Ryuji: I think I'd have to say Yakiniku (charbroiled beef)..

Ryuji: the father would have to be Naoto-san..Naoto-san.. Kenchan as the elder brother.. the rest doesn't really fit the bill.. it really doesn't fit the family structure but.. there's no one that fits little brother either.. from an age point of view it would be Elly.. best friend would be..Omi I suppose.. lover would be Gunchan..mother.. there's really no one that feels like a mother.. it's probably the same as 10 years ago.. what I just answered..

Ryuji: exactly the same..you know.. being together for 10 years, we do have a relationship akin to family but.. but we are not family.. what I mean by not being a family is that..we've spent 10 years.. and we are of course business partners as well.. so we have ties much like a family but we're not family.. and we're really not friends either.. However, we have ties deeper than just friends..and we're business partners..work partners..so it's quite complex.. Lately, I find it harder to answer when asked what our relationships are like..

Question 45: If you were to give a grade to yourself of today, what would be your grade? Also, for what reason? Question from Monthly EXILE 2012

Ryuji: about 60 points..

Ryuji: that's being tough.. (laughs) it's been 10 years and I've only gained 10 points..

Ryuji: the fact that we've been doing this for 10 years.. memories.. the 10 years of 3JSB..

Ryuji: recently.. it would be the paleness of my skin..

Ryuji: I'm still winning in the amount I eat category..but..I maybe slowly eating a little less.. but I think in my age group I still eat a lot..

Question 48: let's say you're the hair and make-up artist, which member would you like to style? Also, what kind of hairstyle? Question from Monthly EXILE 2012

Ryuji: Kenchan.. his hairstyles has been the same for about 8 years.. I feel I'd like to break it down..

Question 50: 10 years from now..where would you like to be as a group and also as an individual? 18/female/Kanagawa

Ryuji: That means I'll be 45 years old, right? Well, as a group.. honestly, if we'll be doing things in the same way is an unknown area..what will not change is the SANDAIME J SOUL BROTHERS part..In 10 years from now..I can't tell you what form we would be taking but..I want to believe we're still sparkling as 3JSB..that goes for the group and I feel the same way also about each individual member..we want people to always think of 3JSB as being cool..not just on the outside but on the inside as well.. there's a strong feeling that we always want to continue to be cool..as an individual..I feel that I will still be singing..I feel like I want to continue to sing while I am still able to..It could also happen that..I may start my own company and handle apparels and things there..I may have built my own studio..maybe not just active in my career as an artist..I can imagine myself involved in other projects as well..

Ryuji: It feels like I just answered 50 questions..I remembered all that vividly so..I'm starting to think that I haven't changed that much..and the questions I answered without remembering previous answers came out with almost the same answers anyways..so it's verified that the inner me hasn't changed..
