They were both breathing heavily in the afterglow, eyes closed and their bodies glistening in sweat.
Omi had his back turned towards Ryuji who opened his eyes and saw heave up and down from his peripheral vision, pace of Omi’s breaths slowing.
He had not planned for their argument to take this turn. They had been screaming at each other, faces closing in for each word, each insult. He was not sure who had initiated it, but all of a sudden their lips were locked in a heated kiss.
Ryuji brushed his hand over his own chest and collarbone, wincing at the sting when he touched the raw bite marks scattered across his skin. But he smiled ruefully when he turned his head to glance at the equally reddish marks all over Omi’s shoulder blades.
Rolling onto his side Ryuji placed an arm around Omi’s waist and moved closer until his whole body pressed against his lover’s back, feeling Omi respond by tracing his fingertips over Ryuji’s forearm before lacing their fingers together.
They were like oil and water, constantly unable to get along, and as soon as the spark of a disagreement ignited both their tempers, it instantly turned into an inferno of emotions. Yet there was with no one Ryuji would rather be.
