im making headcanons again for star wars and you cant stop me -the first time Anakin tried Obi-Wan's "tea" he had to spittake because what the kark, Master, why is it s p i c y ? Anyways, turns out spending a year or more on Manda'yaim gets you real into behot teas, and Obi-Wan has had a soft spot for Shig ever since he was introduced to it while on the run from Kyr'stad. - Growing up in the temple on Coruscant was fun and all, but what was even better was sneaking out of the temple- and in turn, seeing how far away Obi-Wan could get from his minders before eventually having to turn back. We may think of Obi-Wan as some sort of pinnacle of control, boiled essence of mastery of the force- but in reality? He was Chaos Untold on the creche masters.

-Jango Fett was never particularly "willing", per se, to make a clone army. While he had fallen, yes, while he had suffered, yes, he was a Mandalorian still- even exiled from Mandalorian space, even Dar'Manda as he named himself, even as he divorced himself from the crown of Mand'alor. Midiclorians are also likely not genetic, if they are a symbiotic single cell organism. - ki adi mundi is a bitch and i hate him - While the Mandalorians do not trust the Jedi, that does NOT mean that they are unkind to force users- yes, Kyr'stad may have a harsher view of them, but Kyr'stad is a terrorist group first, and Mando'ade second. Most Ad'e see force sensitives as seers, wise ones, and gifted warriors- they have special training, and special positions, they become treasured guards and Goran'e and Baar'ur'e, Alor'e of tribes and clans due to their visions or gifts. No Mandalorian worth their salt would ever give up a child due to their abilities, ka'ra blessed or not. - Most clones refer to themselves as the Vod'e- or the Vod'e An- Brothers All. First generation clones, trained by the Cuy'val Dar and Jango Fett himself, learned Mando'a straight from the source, and when the Alpha and First gen rank clones began teaching the next generations, they passed on the knowledge as well as they could. Most clones are at least passably fluent in the spoken tongue, and can, at a glance, finger count up to twenty in the language. Only the first few generations can reliably read Mando'a, and as far as is known, writing in the language has just been contained to the Nulls, and a select few of the Alphas. vol 2 rant with stuff that has already been said but idc anymore. spoiler warning ig

if it was intended to be platonic then there would've been no reason for mike not to be consistent with his s2 self and be worried and mindful about will, but for some reason even when he was the first one to reach him when he fainted he couldn't even touch him. why? why was that? why was it that the only way to make it clear that he's "will's tammy" and that it's one-sided to butcher their entire friendship also?

it's not about byler, it's about consistency. because they just made mike wheeler a shell of what he once was and forgot whatever the fuck they wrote for him. which would make sense if he's their self insert cause he's clueless AND bleak.

1."will byers main character" – i had to pray for him to show up and do more after shock jock.

2. "kali is back" – she stayed in the back most of the time not doing anything.

3. "finn had a lot of emotional baggage" – mike wheeler is a cardboard cutout.

i had to skip will's coming out cause i felt sick. it was terrible. it was so, so terrible i teared up for the wrong reasons cause it was so fucking disrespectful. will byers was the core of the show and it betrayed him. and the duffer brothers got the balls to say that it was for the sake of realism because their bitchless asses did not get required crushes and it hurt so the best option was to project that onto their gay "protagonist" they put through hell and back.

i honestly got so bored sometimes, i was begging for the pace to both hurry up and slow down because too much was happening. stranger things has always been an emotional and interpersonal show yet every character was lobotomized and it had 0 impact apart from lumax. not to mention that fucking elmax reunion? what the fuck was that? in s4 el was crying and sobbing and brought her back to life desperately for it to just be not even a pat on the shoulder, a hand just PLACED there.

not to mention the fact that the poop brothers had to specify in an INTERVIEW that jancy broke up. which i have another entire rant about that I'm too tired to type and i have too many thoughts.

0 respect for his feelings and how deep they were. 0 respect for his character arc. 0 respect for the show itself. what the fuck were they on when they were writing? was chat gpt down when vol2 was developing? it genuinely feels like a whole different person wrote that.

i am beyond disappointed. i am disgusted. it's not about shipwars, it's not about endgames, it's about consistency and trust me there was not a single ounce of it. do not hit me with the "i am queer and i liked it," cause you know it's not true. i got pressured to come out too and I don't feel empowered by that. what would empower me is seeing a character who's suffered for 5 straight seasons to be treated with decency. you all PARADE this concept of realism but only for your sakes.

i think that, out of all of this, the thing that breaks my heart the most is willel.

i remember when s2 ended i was ecstatic at the idea of them developing a sort of like sibling bond, and even when s3 didn't give me that the end still gave me hope

because let's be honest: two main characters, two characters who are so thematically tethered, who can understand each other and support each other so deeply in a way no one else can, two sides of the same coin. making them siblings was the best outcome but then... nothing?

and it just makes me sad y'know? considering they're also my favorite characters in the whole show. stranger things truly is a mixture of wasted potential

no, the bridge isn't a bad episode because of ships not being canon. no, the bridge isn't a bad episode because of will's coming out being "unnecessary." the bridge is ACTUALLY a bad episode because of writing issues and bad decisions. it is bad because it put a gay actor under the spotlight for 12 hours to film a coming out scene that was 1) forced by his abuser, so it wasn't even ABOUT will being ready for it; 2) made it too personal for the actor so much so that he had to disassociate to get it through; 3) every other reaction wasn't in character but it was STATED it was the actors' reactions; 4) disregarded everything they've written for "realism", projecting the fact that the writers' crushes growing up didn't reciprocate onto their gay "protagonist" who went through hell and back.

it is BAD because it is inconsistent from a writing perspective just to shut down speculation. i have NO idea how some of you all media literacy is SO bad. or is it just for the sake of letting your hateful and homophobic comments shine through?
