Zurin Arctus is just the funniest tes character to me (surprise to none), like this is the most obvious "not normal man" that everyone's just like "yeah that's Zurin, dunno what race he is, something supernatural up with him but Tiber Septim is close with him so 🤷‍♂️" and just at large decided to ignore that and move on to other things

No known family, no known race, is known to be the only mage associated with Magnus (either has his power, or is a part of him) and is said in game to be the strongest mage who has ever lived, figures out how to power the Numidium in a year, has a previous alias which also has no explanation to it at all, and gets dobbed in by Mannimarco for being alive and very much aware during the middle dawn.

Comes out of nowhere, comes from nowhere, know nothing about him, been alive for quite a while, several people say he's some special supernatural affinity, and that's all just ignored because he is overshadowed by the other half of Tiber Septim. "gay as hell" levels of close to Tiber Septim, then they have the breakup of the century and Zurin becomes Tiber's biggest hater in existence

Tries to get himself killed, goes into a 400 year coma, as a coma patient manages to piss off Mannimarco, and then gets his heart back, refuses to elaborate further, takes himself out along with the ability to cast magic in the local area.

And then Talos mantles Lorkhan. Had to throw in one last curveball at us
