Lucy’s feet sunk into the slightly damp ground as she made her way through the park, the moon poking through the trees that surrounded it. Her mind was whirling - why was Q acting so weird? And why had they gotten so worked up when they had been talking earlier? The conversation hadn’t ended well and Lucy didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t often that the two of them fought, but when they did it was terrible. What was she supposed to do when not even her best friend was talking to her? Her eyes were trained on the ground as she walked towards a spot that Keys had showed her earlier on. He had said it was where he went to think and calm down when he needed it, so Lucy thought she would give it a try. She pulled a water bottle out of her bag and took a sip, her throat burning as the vodka inside went down. Before she knew it, she was at the clearing that Keys had shown her, the sound of water lapping against rocks meeting her ears, slightly calming her down already. Or was that the vodka? As she came up to the rock the two had sat on when he had showed her, a dark shadow met her eyes. Not knowing who it was, she stopped awkwardly, debating whether to turn around or not. As she got a bit closer, she realized it was Keys and chuckled a bit to herself. What were the chances? She walked up to him, hoping he heard her so that he didn’t scare when she talked. “Hey,” She said softly, standing beside the rock he was sitting on. “Rough night?” She asked.
