who would be the one to randomly adopt a puppy without consultation: Ummm if anyone it would have to be Mark? But he’s not especially nurturing and Leilani doesn’t like animals, so I don’t think this one’s really a go for them. 

who would force the other to take aesthetic pictures of them: UMMM in general if anyone is forcing pictures to happen, it would be Leilani. I don’t know, especially someday she’d probably just always be in fear of him leaving again so she’d take a zillion selfies of them so she’d always have the memories if he did vanish.

who would do stuff they think is stupid just to make the other one happy: Mark. He’s kind of a sourpuss but he’s got a soft spot for Leilani, so I’m sure he’d let her drag him outside of his box sometimes to try something that ISN’T just reading together every once in a while. 

who picks out the horror movies to watch just so the other will cling to them: Ummmm neither? Mark has seen enough horrors in this lifetime and Leilani is a slut for rom coms and good book adaptations.

who is constantly studying and who is constantly trying to distract them: They’re both pretty studious. I feel like sometimes Leilani tries to distract Mark from books he’s reading for fun though because she wants to hear his voice and hear about what he’s reading or how his day went or whatever, really. 

who initiates the facetime calls whenever they’re separated: NOT LEILANI ANYMORE THAT’S FOR DAMN SURE. She starts to panic anytime she calls him and he doesn’t answer because she’s like ‘oh no, he’s gone again, this is it, it’s happening all over again’ so she like... doesn’t really reach out the way she used to. If Mark wants to talk to her, Mark’s gotta call her. 

who is more likely to storm out after a fight and who is more likely to cry when they do: Leilani is a stormer. She gets carried away and caught up in her feelings and she starts yelling and then she’s just... gotta go, she can’t be there anymore. And Mark’s not really the type to chase her so maybe she leaves him behind crying or maybe not lol, up to you!

who stays up way too late binge-watching their favorite shows: They’re both up late reading. Maybe occasionally they find a show to watch together instead but they’re book people, not TV people. 

who bites the other’s ear when they’re feeling frisky: Leilani. I feel like since Mark has actual real Feels for her and isn’t just like in it for the sex like he maybe has been with other people, he kind of lets her set the pace in their physical relationship most of the time, but Leilani can be full of surprises! Like ear biting apparently lol.

who sprays the other with water when they’re washing the car: LMAO I DO NOT SEE THEM WASHING A CAR AT ALL I’M TYRING TO PICTURE IT AND IT JUST DOES NOT COMPUTE. Also I feel like leilani would be MURDEROUS if Mark sprayed her lol, she’s not very fun sometimes. 

who has more fun decorating the house during holidays: Leilani! She can’t escape her love of holidays in any verse (it’s what makes it more fun to ruin holidays for her eventually lmao)

who is more likely to give the silent treatment when they’re mad at the other: Leilani. Silence is kind of a Mark trademark so it’s less noticeable when he tries to go quiet for a point; she’s the one who’s constantly chattering, so silence on her end is terrifying. 

who plays with the others’ hair more: Mark. I feel like he’s not as open to receiving affection as Leilani is (though God knows with her he’s probably gotten used to it). Plus she has pretty hair, he probably just absentmindedly runs his fingers through it when she’s using his lap as a pillow while they’re both reading. 

who is more likely to climb all over the other one when they’re bored: Not because she’s bored, but just in general Leilani invades personal space like woah.

who tries to kiss the other as often as they can: Mark, actually? Not ‘as often as he can’ because that’s so extra, but I feel like there are a lot of feelings that he doesn’t know how to put into words so he just shows Leilani instead. 

who pouts when the other one tells them to shut the fuck up: Leilani doesn’t just pout, she straight up CRIES. Being ignored is like weirdly triggering for her and she hates feeling like people think what she has to say is annoying or unimportant, even if Mark probably just wants to like finish a chapter or a book or something before he lets her talk so he can focus on her properly oops. 

who initiates the sex and who walks away when the other is riled up: I MEAN I think Leilani likes sex anyway and has a pretty healthy sex drive but I feel like I could also see her using it to try and solve problems/end fights sometimes and I could see Mark deciding it isn’t working/that it’s kind of messed up for her to try to use it that way and being the one to walk away and be like “Not now, Lei.”   

who always forgets the umbrella and who holds it when they actually have one: Leilani HAS an umbrella that she SHOULD keep in her purse, but she takes it out all the time to put in more books instead. So I feel like they’re both emptyhanded unless they KNOW rain’s coming that day; if they get caught in a freak storm they just stop what they’re doing and go inside somewhere and read until it stops. 

who demands showering first in the mornings: UMMM I can’t see either demanding it? They both probably procrastinate showering as long as possible because they wake up with books still on top of them half the time and just pick up right where they left off lol. Or Leilani wakes up and tries to cuddle him instead of starting her day. 

who sneaks into the shower with the other one in the mornings: Neither. Shower thoughts are some of the best thoughts there are for readers/writers/daydreamers, they don’t want to interrupt each other’s private thinking time by trying to get all sexy. 

who prefers riding the roller coasters and who prefers playing the games: Leilani doesn’t care for either that much but would rather suffer through a thrill ride than let the world see how TRULY awful she is at games. I don’t think Mark likes games because there are too many people crowded around; with rides, the line sucks but at least once they’re ON the ride it’s just him and Leilani in a row usually. 

who will text the other one thirty times in a row until they respond: Leilani. Mark’s not good with communication, but Leilani has stopped trying to text Mark about important things. He mostly juts gets random streams of consciousness or rants about whatever she’s reading or doing that day instead of like... questions or things that need a response.

who always forgets to charge their phone overnight: Leilani. Although Mark doesn’t REPLY to stuff on his phone, I see him always having it charged just because he likes knowing Leilani is thinking of him when she texts him. She just like... falls asleep random places and doesn’t give a fuck about charging her phone lol. 

who comes up behind the other and slide their hands into their back pockets: Leilani. She’s the touchy feely one for sure. Also her hands get cold but she doesn’t wear gloves that often because it makes it hard to turn pages. 

who tries to get hugs from the other as often as they can: Leilani. See above.

who is louder and who constantly has the tell the other to be quiet: Leilani is definitely louder in all aspects of life. Mark prefers to be quiet and under the radar and probably reminds Leilani to be quiet so no one notices them and they can just be kind of shut off from the rest of the world.
