FOR: @dionysusrhea WHERE: the HELICON DECK WHEN: 2130.02; LATE EVENING
“You got into another fight with her,” it’s not a question, nor is it judgement—at this point, it’s simply become the crux of all their mother-daughter interactions. He finds her out on the deck some time in the evening, or does she find him? They end up next to each other, spectators caught on the fringe as the lights around them come to life to replace the setting sun. There’s an illusionist putting on a show at the Stage who he watches without seeing.
He doesn’t pretend to understand how their relationship got to be like this, nor does he want to get in between any of his siblings and how they perceive their parents. But if he’s honest, out of all the issues the family’s had over the very long years they’ve all been subjected to one another’s nonsense, this seemed like the one that should have united them. It certainly seems to have done the trick for most of the others.
Then again, Hera and Dionysus have the longest history together out of all of them, that has to count towards something. “Care to talk about it?”
