you are the sweetest, cutest person I've ever met, and I am so glad I'm your friend.
Anonymously tell my muse something you’d never say to their face.
Sungmin, truthfully, hadn’t been expecting statements so kind to befall him, and his surprise has rosiness growing in his cheeks, pink painting all too fair skin as he ducks his head shyly. “I honestly can’t be the- the most-” He trails off, uncertainly, trying to scramble and save face, figure out the words he wants to speak before they end up coming out all jumbled as usual. “You’re awfully kind... I’m sure you’re a really good friend to me. Th-Thank you.” And there’s a gentle upward curve of his lips to accompany his gratitude.

[ sms - unknown ]: huh? [ sms - unknown ]: it’s sungmin. didn’t i give you my number?
It took a few moments for him to realize what must have happened, and then he was hurrying to text again, flustered at his own mistake.
[ sms - unknown ]: oh no did i get the number wrong??

“I’d thought so,” he mumbled in response at first, and then his head jerked up a degree, an apology already shining in his eyes. “Not that I thought you wouldn’t be able to solve it! B-But you looked like you were having trouble...” Sungmin was only judging by how his expression had looked after all. “It does look really hard.”

The smirk he caught sight of made Sungmin’s momentarily assured demeanour wilt, warmth flooding his cheeks. “It was a h-hypothetical..?” Only he didn’t sound too sure of his own words, voice growing higher toward the end as if he were voicing his own question. The corners of his bow-shaped lips quirked up a bit, shy expression only dulling in favour of something akin to amusement. “So, uhm, hypothetically... if I said yes, would you?”
"W-what?! Why the closet?"
Sungmin was beginning to think that the world had it out for him. Or maybe just his friends - were these ones even friends? Anyone that witnessed how they treated him would probably say otherwise.
Either way, he wished more than anything that he hadn’t decided to go to a house party old acquaintances of his had dragged him to. He had no idea why a girl there insisted that they were dating when he didn’t even remember meeting her, and it made him panic in his nervousness, needing to flee the conversation the more she went on and drew the attention of other guests.
He hadn’t had any other options, well, any that he’d thought of, so Sungmin had ended up latching onto someone, dragging them with him to another room. Only, in his panic, it turned out that it wasn’t a room, not exactly.
Ah… So that’s why the other had asked that…
The door was already shut behind them, and without any light in there they were shrouded in darkness. His voice came out as a harried whisper, apologetic. “I-I don’t know! I thought it was another room!” He groaned quietly, leaning against the wall that was pretty much right behind him, the closet cramped and not leaving either much room to move. “I’m so sorry, I just… I didn’t know what else to do!”

“Yeah, I think so too,” he agreed, nodding even as he guiltily watched the pair until they were out of sight before glancing sideways at Nikolai with an unsure laugh. “Hopefully he learned a lesson. I can never understand why kids are so rude to their parents sometimes.” Part of that had to do with his own personality being so docile, but another part was probably because Sungmin wished he still had parents to back talk to in the first place. “I don’t think I was ever too bad, but it’s been so many years. I’m too old to remember now.” He scrunched up his nose at the thought.
