Once upon a time, There was a prince Who was turned into a beautiful beast; The caster: himself.

But a smile still never ceased to crease his lips. He had no one left to hurt him. That was the purpose of a castle wasn't it? The walls that he savaged with his bare hands now were part of this reconstructed castle. The halls were silent yet his mind noisy. He could almost hear himself thinking, the sounds of discord reverberating in his mind. 

He could almost drown in this silence. It was so subtle, the looming sensation that continued to creep behind him. What it was, he had yet to discover despite having all the knowledge he could ever want. N was once a very skittish child, nowhere near befitting of a ruler. But that was so long ago. And he hated the feeling of being so weak and feeble. That was why he transformed.

Now he was a prince. He was envied for his beauty, admired for his sharp intelligence, gazed up for wisdom and advice. Yes, N was blessed with whatever he wanted. Still, he could feel no satisfaction. Even as he strut down the lavish carpet, he could not calculate why he was so discontent. He was already the ideal prince. What more was there for him?

"I am feeling quite good today. Perhaps I should stretch my legs," he proclaimed to himself. "After all, I fear I may lose myself in this silence." His voice echoed throughout the hall. Even if only a single person spoke, the volume was that of a hundred people. He did not need others to hold a conversation with in a room with such acoustics. 

And the prideful prince sat in the sun, his seat on the lips of the fountain. The water spews from behind. He is enclosed in this pleasure garden. The orchard walls remove him from the outside world. What did it offer anyhow? With all the knowledge in the world, a handsome face to accompany it, why would he care for the realm outside? Everything he needed was provided for him so long as he asked. In the moment, however, his desire was quite simple: time to relax in his secret garden.

Song for a Hermit || Falkner and Heather

It had been about a year since Falkner left Violet City, since he left the traditional region of Johto and taken refuge into the wild-lands. The civilized world had nothing left for him, trainers came and left his gym with their badges and failed to heed his words of advice. He was a patient man, but as the saying went, "Beware the wrath of a patient man." The blunette entrusted his gym with a close friend and packed his bags the next day. Now, he lived in a little cabin, his beloved bird Pokemon were free from their Pokeballs and nature catered to his needs.

His daily routine was still the same, he rose with the sun, stretched and toned his muscles, ate breakfast and then trained his birds. Life had been the same, just, no more saying hi to the elders every morning, instead he said hi to the wildlife. Falkner's sandled feet  padded across the loamy green earth as he went to a nearby stream to collect some water for cooking and drinking, after that he made it a point to step into the forest to find some berries or fruit to eat.

Thanks to years of flight on his Pokemon, Falkner was able to find an abundance of berries. He helped himself to a couple of handfuls, only the one's that were edible mind you! This wasn't trial and error, he'd thrown himself out into the wilderness before... just not forever. A sudden wave of loneliness had washed over him, has it really been a year since he left? The days were marked by ticks on his doorframe, last time he counted them he had just about 365. A cluster of purple berries conjured an image of his best friend, Morty. He paused to think about how Morty was doing, before he could stop himself instinct kicked in and he thought about seeing the Kimono Girls perform with him.

These damn thoughts, with a loud sigh Falkner threw the berries into the trees. He had to clear his mind, luckily he knew a wonderful waterfall just two miles from his cabin. Eager to relax he quickly stored the berries at home and began the walk to the waterfall...

Finally, a chance to relax, the cool mist quickly beaded around Falkner's hair as he sat at the shallow end of the pool. He dangled his feet as he tried to clear his mind. Then he heard something that chilled him to his core, a clap of thunder followed by rain. Before he could get on his feet the torrential rain flooded the waterfall and Falkner was swept into the current. 

He fought to keep himself afloat, the water had a strong grip on him as it kept pulling him under. The current turned his blood to ice as he tried to protect himself from getting battered by the rocks, the frothy water churned him headfirst into a boulder and carried him downstream. Falkner's vision faded, the rapids deposited him into a bubbling creek. Water entered his lungs as his body gave up the struggle, the last thing he saw was a brown-haired girl leaning over him. With a final cough he closed his eyes.

Nixon probably wouldn't hit on Heather – considering that she feels a little typical like any anonymous woman on the street. Should they meet, however, the heir is likely to respect her profession and patience, and may slowly open up to her as a friend or a confidant when things in the Nursing Room gets too heavy for one to bear themselves.
