SUBJECT: Lee Taemin’s Sexuality is more than just a great song.
in the nation of south korea, even with the amount of bromance and lady love shown by group idols as well as the public coming out of popular variety celebrity hong seokcheon sixteen years ago, homosexuality is still considered pretty taboo. despite the lack of talk about it ( especially on tv and in public ) byeol was positive there had to be some idols out there who are part of the lgbtq+ community. the industry is way too big and there are way too many people in it for them all to be straight, no way.
now it comes down to the question we ( or at least that one anon from honesty hour ) are all wondering: what is yoo byeol’s sexuality?
sixteen years old, a virgin in all forms ( she hasn’t even had her first kiss yet ), and very much so curious about herself and others, pondering over her sexual orientation has become a regular thing these days. in fact, it’s become a topic of so much thought, that she often just lay on her bed and get lost in her musings about it. and byeol would probably never find out if that is normal to do or not, because your sexual orientation isn’t the easiest thing to bring up into everyday conversation.

some things are better kept to yourself, it seems.
but that doesn’t stop the young trainee’s continuance with thinking about it, laying there on the couch with her feet hanging over the armrest and blueberry lollipop between her lips. there weren’t any other trainees in the dorm right now, so she didn’t have to worry about getting nagged to sit properly or curious friends exchanging pennies for her thoughts. nope --- it’s just yoo byeol and her endless overthinking for the day.
attraction is a pretty confusing thing. those fantaken photos byeol was looking at of king’s hyun sunbaenim didn’t make her squeal happily for nothing, and jiyeon knows how dramatic byeol gets when she sends gifs of player’s ace with the nut button meme. but then there’s also the fact that byeol is around girls for most of her time compared to the male gender, and also the fact that she worships girl groups more than she does boy groups. girls, she believes, should be treated like queens. they were perfect to her in every sense --- all beautiful and admirable and worthy. guys? well... moving on.
a groan tore from her throat, and the trainee almost choked on her lollipop as she did so. with a small cough she sat herself back up properly on the couch, hitting her chest with a small fist and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. this was way too much thinking for just seven o’clock in the evening and she should be getting back to the practice rooms before the other trainees start attacking her phone with kakaotalk messages and calls about her whereabouts.
with another groan escaping her blueberry-stained lips, byeol swiped her phone off the table before pulling on her face mask and plugging in her earphones. the weather isn’t so humid today and she needs to work off all that food she’s been sneakily eating during this diet, so walking to the training building sounds like a good idea.
and what to do you know! the first song her itunes library shuffled to was lee taemin’s sexuality.
