I know it would be a bit out of character for MC, but do you think she would sing seductively at some point?

According to Cybertronian Norms, such acts would draw quite a reaction. But, MC would know how to utilise what she can, after all, heavy attraction very much exists in Cybertronian Norms as well.

Hi SourSpring :D, I'm glad you're still here with us <3. While I was rereading “A Silhouette's Serenade,” I heard the song Stromae, Pomme - “Ma Meilleure Ennemie” playing, and I could picture MC in a farewell scene with one of the mechas in particular… a few days before the war broke out or the last time they see MC before she disappears. Would we have a similar scene in the fic, and who would be the lucky/unlucky one who could dance and hear her sing for the last time with her(?

Oh. My. Goodness.

There are far too many choices for a song like that... and I do not want to spoil the outcome too much, but let us just say I can very easily picture someone like Megatron... watching MC on a stage...

Not saying goodbye, not really. Just standing there in that strange space between devotion and distance, where you could almost call someone ma meilleure ennemie and mean it with your whole heart.

The kind of moment where the lights are warm, the song is softer than the hurt beneath it, and every glance feels like a promise already turning into a wound.

Where you sing, and they listen, and neither of you says the one thing that matters because perhaps it is already too late—"je t'aime," "je te fuis"—all at once.

That is all I want to share for now, but it is a very, very good song, and I love the aching, tender menace of it. It fits Megatron and MC's future dynamic... very, very, very well.

Hey spring just curious but in the institute of quality and refined femmes, what is that campus teaching exactly? By MC's reaction on how she comments how the institute have a moto on femmes having specific roles and how they're programmed for the higher classes it got me curious on how the heck was that institute was built what how it's viewed in universe by other characters specifically the femmes cause it safe to say they're gonna have their own strong feelings on that I stitute especially the head strong ones

Also curious but feel free if you'd like to not answer for spoiler reasons but are we gonna see/it being brought up again? Cause I feel like the incident with seaslug isn't something the higher class would just ignore

This is a little embarrassing to admit, but because it was such an early chapter, back when I had just started writing and was still throwing plot bricks at the wall to see what stuck, I more or less invented the institution for the sake of the plot- ._.

Including Seaslug- (for those who get the ref- :D), which at the time I absolutely was not planning to touch again in the slightest...

And yet, much like all silly little plot moments, it is now sitting somewhere in the shadows, staring at me ominously.

So... maybe I will reference that spontaneous little moment again in a future chapter or two. Who knows? Perhaps the narrative has not forgotten, even if I very briefly tried to. XD

Curious question Spring, what is MC's mannerisms that is considered different from the norm? Bc it seems like her just doing daily tasks, her action doesn't fit the norm which makes me curious cause there are canonically characters who have big personalities so I was wondering what made MC different from those mechas and in your fic what is the "normal" behaviors in this universe? Maybe it's just me loving animation details that shows hints of each characters personalities in how they move so hope it's ok to ask

Hello Honey! I don't know why, but I suddenly have things appearing in my inbox??? After so long. Anyway, it's more about how MC moves and speaks when around others. There are expressive cybertronians, even though too much emotion is considered not acceptable and such. MC does control her tone, but it's very obvious that she's observant of others' emotions and such. Really good at reading others. For example, her tone and accent differ, and it's not mentioned or stands out, but MC will also occasionally use human phrases while speaking... Also... Here's a hint: "The eyes are the window to the soul..." Optics and sparks. What does MC have within those optics...? Thank you for the ask, and please keep it going...! - A Sour Author
