Steve Forrest as Mannon, known as the "fastest gun in the West", enters into Dodge and starts terrorizing the town including going after Kitty, in an episode of Gunsmoke from the 14th season titled Mannon. This was first of four appearances Steve made in the series and he reprised the role in the movie, Gunsmoke: Return to Dodge in 1987.
Steve was born on September 29th, 1925 in Huntsville, Texas as William Andrews and is the younger brother of actor Dana Andrews while the 12th of 13 siblings. He was best known for his four guest appearances on Gunsmoke and the star of the '70s television series, S.W.A.T. as Lieutenant Dan "Hondo" Harrelson. Steve died on May 18th, 2013 at the age of 87.
