okay but if jack kills chuck then...is he going to be chuck's replacement? if he becomes that powerful?

I get it that if you off god then yknow the whole balance of the universe goes wack but technically speaking what exactly does it take to /be/ him if that makes any sense? like is it just the energy or what? but then, if that were the case, wouldn't the existence of another being with that much power in the universe, whether it be 'dark' or 'light', throw things off balance too?
