'old times' was such a good episode, bringing back that old ER-feel tenfold! i loved everyone being connected in this tragedy that the grandmother was going through, and in the short time you really felt her pain and got to know her. susan sarandon guest starring was gold.
carter and benton meeting again was so sweet. i loved benton seeing carter in his socks and thinking he looked ridiculous
and also his surprise at carter having married a black woman was funny. peter was fully expecting a blonde white woman (with reason!) the picture of them before they lost their son is such a bittersweet touch
carter keeping this in his wallet all the while he's coded in the ER and about to undergo major surgery. and he doesn't tell his parents because he doesn't think like it'll make a difference, and he doesn't tell kem because he doesn't think like it'll make a difference. so then, for the second time, benton's there for him through everything
and you know that benton will micromanage his way through anything involving surgery on carter. i loved his bit with the rule book, clearly he did it out of his desire to control the room And to piss off the transplant surgeon that he thought was a dick. and ended up probably saving carter's new kidney!
the episode made me laugh and made me cry. made me desperately sad, and delighted me endlessly at the same time. aka an ER classic!
i’m currently in the process of doing a complete rewrite of the ending to supernatural, starting from ep 19 (i’ll probably have it be three episodes instead of two). it’s slow going, but here’s a scene that I’m quite proud of!
if you hated the finale as much as I did, you NEED to watch this analysis of it, this video is absolutely amazing.
went into the last three episodes expecting to end the series and yap on tumblr and be generally crushed and then i got slaughtered and they put my dead remains through a wood chipper.
let’s get started. end spoilers under the cut.
I just watched the episode Cas dies in and I’m gonna need at least 8-10 business days to process the “I love you”, the hand print left behind and Dean’s crying
what the hell sure
Wait, did your roommate bring someone home that's keeping you up all night?
