I feel like the difference between Gon and Killuas power levels is simply that Killua is incredibly trained in his abilities and has been since he was, well, probably old enough to walk. Gon simply has so much raw power that he's technically weaker then Killua, but only because he never trained. It wasn't necessary for his lifestyle, really. If Gon was properly trained, well, I wouldn't be surprised if he was stronger then Killua.
