Some recent pictures of Simeria, my Test of Time challenge. I've misplaced my hard drive with older pictures (I updated my PC), but Round 9 is finished and in order for write up! It is currently in round 9/generation 4. Loving the egyptian era! Don't know if I'm ready to move onto roman era when gen 5 reaches adulthood :')

I'll post shortish summaries of each family's round based on my notes to tumblr from now on + the whole neighborhood round summary at the end. First in turn for round 9 is Xavier Amell's house. Xavier is the first teacher and current headmaster and owner of the only school in Simeria.
Their servant, Barbara Cuelson grew to adult on monday with aspirations to reach higher status eventually.
Xavier finished writing the book on logic skill also on monday evening. Many more to go x)
Meredith killed her half sister Medina in a fight on Tuesday morning. They have a magic lamp so they could resurrect her, but since they have enough children left I'm saving the wishes for something else.
Meredith had a successful date with Tirabelle Amell later that day.
Later on Tuesday evening a massive fire spread through the house and took lives of all sims living in there + few guests. I quit without saving and decided to edit the more dangerous fire mod to a bit less lethal version. The fire was impossible to put out, even though 4 sims were simultaneously trying to extinguish it x_x.
Xavier is expecting yet another child for Medes.
Barbara decided that she wanted to become a witch and since I've been thinking of adding a good witch to the neighborhood I might oblige. That would also raise her social status. She actually met the infallibly good witch Marie-Antoinette while hiking and befriended her.
Meredith grew to adulthood in tuesday evening.
Xavier and Ricky ran the school for teens of the families who could afford to pay the school fee.
On friday Barbara finally could make her want come true and convinced Marie-Antoinette to grant her the gift of magic.
The townie Elyse offered her a job in medicine, so she became a witch doctor by chance! Fitting job indeed! She will establish her own house after this round. (I added townies to the neighborhood in this round, since the town has grown up in size and has plenty community lots established. I reasoned that it might attract visitors from other cities to visit the growing town of Simeria).
On Friday evening Xavier gave birth to twins and perished :(. Medes tried his best to plead with the Grim reaper, but sadly didn't manage to save Xavier's life :(.
Meredith: send help, I didn't sign up to be a nanny.
On sunday Medes decided to use a wish from the magic lamp to resurrect savier. He was resurrected in full health!
The twins Mirlena and Marlena grew to toddlers on sunday evening.
Marylena and Mimi also grew to teens and will be attending the school during next round. Marylena inherited werewolfism.
Xavier also finished another book, a book of cooking skill by the end of the round! Now we have mechanical, logic and cooking skills available to learn by reading by those who possess the skill to do so.
They paid 5500 in taxes this round and gained 5600 via school fees paid by other families.
