OUAT (re)watch S03 - E09 All I have is Henry

Oh my, how I love this episode!!

Because Regina is Henry for me, and as she says when she is tied to Pan's tree, I don't care if she "casted a curse that devastated an entire population. She tortured and murdered. She has done some terrible things", because look how devastated she was when she thought "It is me" when Henry didn't stop crying with her.

And when she thanks Henry for stopping his crying and "giving her a chance"! ... And when she thinks little Henry is the only one in all realms that believes in her and decides to take him back home and really accepts him as her son! 😭

Geez!! I am really like that meme... "yes, she murdered but look at those sad brown eyes" or something like that, lol.

Regina is Henry for me, first and foremost. Henry is what sets her apart from the Evil Queen for me (whom I like too, and I like when certain traits of the Queen shine through Regina).

And so I love when she says that all she has is Henry, and how she is unapologetic about her having no regrets and she deservedly gets the Hero shots and the Hero line "Let's go save Henry".

Bonus points because to Emma she says "you have your parents, you have this 'person'"... Lol, "person", it just tickles me to no end. I take it as my SQ moment :D

(Mind you... of course that's because she is a character... I don't condone mass murder in RL. I feel sadly maybe this needs to be said, in this day and age in Internet)

But there were lots of other things I liked in this episode. I really love it. I am enjoying my S3 watching so far.

going insane over the ben/tara/christian dynamic in e7-9 bc like it's not a case of one of them being the clear antagonist or anything, all of them have done things that were wrong. ben read tara's journal and evidently didn't trust her at all, also he was the one who prolonged his own suffering and made things awkward by not letting tara break up with him. tara emotionally cheated on him and expects christian to immediately be her boyfriend again with little regard for his own friendship with ben. and christian spent the entire night lying across from tara and staring at her, fully aware that she was ben's girlfriend, and is now gaslighting her into thinking it meant absolutely nothing to him when that's so obviously not true. it's just all such a mess and they've all hurt each other so badly at this point and also i'm obsessed with all of it
