Speed run with my "Borderlands Glock" this past Saturday. Glock 17 with ALG Six Second Mount, Aimpoint T1, S3F Solutions barrel, and Surefire X300U. It's an interesting system for sure. Very similar to common open division competition pistols. I'll be running this system for the next few months to see what I can do with it. It's lots of fun, but not practical for conventional CCW use. In my opinion. But notice that I said CONVENTIONAL. Because there are times I can see certain people needing/wanting a rig like this over a regular pistol. Just doing some work in the car. 1.05 draw from my Sidecar appendix rig seated in a vehicle, seatbelt on, random timer start delay of 2-5 seconds. Target was 5 yards away, all A zone hits. This 1.05 is my consistent time. If I gamed this drill for half an hour I'm sure I could get it around .7 or so.
