This was a problem a couple of years ago. I had it today. Clearing the EA app cache did not help like it usually does. I copied my mods, saves, tray, and screenshots folder to my desktop as a backup. Then, I uninstalled the EA app. Then, I went in to my Programs folder and the Electronic Arts folder was still there, and I deleted it (NOT THE EA GAMES FOLDER). Then I reinstalled the EA app, restarted my computer, and it works again. This is what people who previously had the issue said they did, so I figured it was good, and it was. 😊
