I’ve been thinking a lot about my SBI Hardcore AU recently, so I finally drew some art for it. Everything takes place in Philza’s season 4 hardcore world, and all of the world building is done around the pre-existing lore. The main addition is that of the Player, which is a title given to mobs and humans alike who carry special abilities (this concept is directly inspired by this fic).

Tommy lives in Flowerfall as Ocean Overlord’s right hand man. He’s a human Player with the ability to conjure any item he desires, though it always takes it away from someone else.

Wilbur lives in the Quartress as the Blaze Empress’ Blaze Mechanic. He’s a wither skeleton Player with the ability to craft anything instantly, given he has the materials to do so. (Blazes in this AU are living machines that protect the nether fortresses, similar to iron golems in the overworld)

Techno and Phil are also Players, but I’ll probably talk about them at a later time since their stories are a bit more complicated...

Had an idea for Phoenix!Philza

His wings are not physical bird wings but rather literally made of (soul)fire

They were a gift from the Blaze Empress to let him safely traverse the Nether Void after he proved himself to her

Surprisingly enough, they are actually rather cold to the touch due to being made of soul fire

He was once able to summon them at will, but the L’manberg explosion burned and scarred his back so badly that they cannot properly attach to his body anymore
