(Via Dailymotion) Engineers in China have recently unveiled an out of the box transit system that would revolutionalize public transportation. Its called the Transit Elevated Bus or TEB . They video above is a scale model of what it would look like. The bus is designed to carry 1,200 passengers but is slated to be cheaper than a subway. The design of the bus allows for traffic to pass right under it which would eliviate traffic issues in the world's most populated country. According to the dailymail the TEB would run on a set of fixed rails connected to the roads, Chinese engineers hope that the design helps increase the availability for more road space and fewer traffic jams. During the showcase and announcement of this transit system at the 19th China Bejing International High-Tech Expo, the lead Engineer in charge, Bai Zhiming said construction can be finished in one year, the TEB will be tested in Qinhuangdao City, China during the second half of the year. #s4tTech #TEB #chinese #Transit #Transportation
