I’m not excusing Lin’s behavior, but I think it’s understandable that she resents Joan’s easy life, relatively, and wealthy parents. I’m glad Lin has entered the story and that she is a challenge for Joan to deal with (well, hopefully Lin will return next season). Bonus:  Joan admits she’s happier.
