The food here is so delicious! They have a great range of vegetarian options and their specials plates are so huge — I don’t know how anybody orders a full-size version of any of their meals! 

It’s a cute little place that’s been open for years but I always snobbily walked past, assuming it wasn’t any good. What a fool I was!

In terms of the decor, I have warm & pleasant memories - but maybe that’s coloured by how good a time I had with the person I was with? I did really like the chairs & tables, though I think the definitions of falafels etc on the walls seem a bit patronising to the patriarchy (but what the fuck do I know about that, right?)

The last time I was here, my friend and I stayed for hours and hours. The service is friendly & not too intrusive (I would’ve definitely kicked us out!). The place had a constant ebb & flow of people but never got too busy or rowdy, though it was a Saturday night.

It’s a cute alternative to the thousand Thai places you can find on King St: just as casual & equally good food, perfect for a pre- or post- drink meal before you continue on with the evening’s revelry.
