RIGHT??? I saw some haters on Facebook earlier today gripin’ about stuff as usual, but the writing in these new episodes was fantastic. SU always dazzles with the way it keeps the characters true to themselves, while pushing realistically forward in their own ways (even if those ways aren’t always what other people wanted from them).
yes!! they were all so good, oh my gosh. i especially loved gemcation, it was a perfect little representation of everything i love about the dynamics of steven’s family. and sadie got some awesome development, the steven and connie stuff was done so well, and aaaa the peridot and lapis stuff (and shorty squad episode!!), man it was all awesome and i want a million more episodes. i did have to unfollow someone the other day bc somehow in november 2017 people still find enjoyment in picking apart su’s art style and needlessly hating on a show that makes people happy >:c
The musician turned voice actor Carl Salbacka voices the character Cedric (amongst others!) in the webcomic dub of Taylor Robin's Never Satisfied.
He sings the song in the background too!
