I don't. I wish everyone had the same mindset as the Father.
The whole world is full of the objectification of women and I honestly don't feel like that will ever stop. Unfortunately. I go to a Christian college and I feel like I see it there more than anywhere else. There is also more pressure at my school to be thin and beautiful than any other community i have been a part of. You have no idea how badly I wish i wasn't a woman most of the time.
This is the saddest thing.
Christians, if we are not actively trying to see the world as the Father sees the world, we're missing something. Christian men specifically, if we are not trying to see our sisters as the Father sees them, we've missed it.
The Lord spoke to me almost two years ago, and He said, "You cannot pretend to contend for justice when you are the one holding down the oppressed." We cannot be the ones saying stuff like, "everyone's beautiful no matter who they are!" while maintaining the mindsets that have been crippling the world and our generation.
We are citizens of a different Kingdom, ambassadors on the earth. An ambassador lives in a foreign country while maintaining the laws and customs of his or her own. An ambassador is not a tourist. We simply cannot keep toying around with the things that are crippling us and holding down the oppressed.

25: Which member from which band would you most want to lather in nutella?This is tough... mostly because I don't choose the bands I like based on how much I'd like to lather the members in nutella. Right now I'm thinking Alexis Krauss from Sleigh Bells, and during a show, because that would just be awesome. :P

24. I'll love you if...Basically, if you're in my life in some noticeable way (only because I forget people who aren't). Again, it's not conditional, and I'm not saying it's easy for me either, but easy love isn't love.
