Would Terry sabotage and isolate his beloved if she rejected him
He'd isolate them even if they accepted him, if we're honest.
Sabotage too, if need be.
Although, Terry's more prone to aggressively support someone he loves.
But hey --- if push came to shove...
Why is that so? Because. Why would he share something that's his? Why would he let them out of his sphere of influence? Would he let them listen to anyone who isn't him? Care for anyone beside him? Invest in time in anyone who isn't him? Why? When he's here and he can give them everything they need and even things they didn't know they needed. But. There's always a but. I don't think Terry Silver would just come out and say 'you're forbidden from doing so and so or seeing so and so' or necessarily bark orders in the classical sense. No. The key is to make people believe such decisions are their own and believe it so firmly and wholly that they'd never even have the smallest shred of doubt that their integrity is intact even as Terry subtly pulls the strings from behind the scenes and controls every decision they make. Point is, beloved is his darling robot and every thought they had and resolution they made ever since they've met him (and perhaps even before that) is because he planted the seed and let it grow. They'll be out here, isolating themselves entirely on their own accord. Sabotaging themselves when he wants and needs them to sabotage themselves and they'll be supporting themselves, in equal measure, when he wants and needs them to. Point is, beloved will do the legwork all alone for all they're concerned, without anyone meddling (supposedly) and that's just the way Terry Silver likes it too. To vaguely paraphrase him, he ran into your fist, not your fault his nose is broken. Nevermind the fact Terry got his fist ready and into position to ram it square into someone's face. So long as the individual harmed believes they're the one at fault for their smashed nose and not him, all's going according to plan.
Such is the case with beloved. They'll cut out most people because they'll be convinced they're doing the right thing and that Terry's just about the biggest supporter in their corner, and what's hilariously ironic, he probably is, seeing as how the levels of devotion this man has are unhinged. He's also the most territorial supporter in their corner, to the degree he won't share the spot with anyone else.
5 Ways To Stop Sabotaging Yourself
Today.
I will NOT stand in my own way! (Period).
Have you ever expected yourself to succeed in making life changes, however, you do not designate any time or mental space to accomplish them?
Or… are you the one who would think, “I can’t take a dance class until I’ve lost weight.”
Or…in a situation which you can choose either to be happy or miserable, you actually choose to be miserable.
Or…do you allow yourself to ruminate or worry without expecting yourself to take appropriate problem-solving actions? For example, you worry about the security of your online accounts, but do nothing to lower your risk.
Above are some examples of self-sabotaging behaviours in an article about “30 types of self-sabotage and what to do about it” written by Dr. Alice Boyes, in Psychology Today.
So, how to stop sabotaging ourselves? Let’s delve into the ways together, shall we?
