“Try Me”
Anon requested: could you do a kylo x reader fic where she’s really tryna push all of kylos buttons and push him over the top and gets worried she’s gone too far but it’s okay?
kylo x reader, 631 words, fluff!
It had been several hours since you had seen Kylo. You knew he had important meetings to attend and other business but it didn’t stop you missing him and feeling bored. You’d spent all day not being able to entertain yourself, and giving up on any holovids to watch you threw your datapad down on your bed and sighed.
It wasn’t much longer that Kylo arrived back at your (well his) quarters. You could tell it hadn’t been a good day, he appeared stressed and agitated before he’d even removed his mask. You could always tell by his shoulders. Even though they never stopped making him so intimidating with just how wide he was, you had begun to learn how they slumped when he was stressed, how he held them higher when he wasn’t feeling confident.
His helmet was removed and thrown across the room. It landed with a loud thud against the far wall, nothing soft in Kylo’s bedroom to soften its fall.
“Don’t” Kylo started, his eyes glaring at the wall behind you. “I can hear what you’re thinking.”
In truth, you hadn’t meant to be thinking so loudly about what could have gone wrong and what was going through his head and oh stars, how hot you always got when he stormed in because his presence was normally already enough to make you melt but powerful and angry Kylo was a whole other level...
“I don’t want to talk about it.” He paused, his eyes dancing over your body, you sat propped up against his black pillows on the headboard. “You wouldn’t understand.”
You sighed, swinging your feet over the edge of the bed, about to stand when he walked over to you, towering above your head, his eyes glazed and so yellow.
His hand reached out, gently tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear. These were the little pieces of Kylo that were yours. These tender moments in between the anger and the hurt, or the passion, were the little gestures that swelled your heart even more than you thought it could. Kylo cared.
He exhaled deeply, his hand cupping your cheek and yanking your chin upwards as he leant forward to place a kiss on your lips. As he pulled away he was gazing back into your [e/c] eyes, and let out another deep breath.
You were captivated, as you always were. His swimming irises bored into you, held you there silent and immobile, his breath just touching your face. You couldn’t speak, so you spoke in your mind.
Try me.
His eyes shut, tightly, as he seemed to move away from you, his hand letting go of your face, his brows furrowed as he thought.
Then he was back over you, pushing you backwards as he climbed over your body, his hand grabbing your face again, his lips crashing onto yours as his other arm held his weight. He let his torso rest on you, the close proximity closing off any questions in your mind as his fingers threaded through your hair and his nose bumped yours as he gasped for breath.
He was kissing you over and over and over and you were dizzy with the force of it. It wasn’t until he was barely breathing that he parted his lips from yours again, his forehead now leaning on yours, his breaths only small pants.
“I don’t need you to listen to all...that” he gazed down at you. “I just need you here.”
His arms enveloped you, and you sank into his chest as he rolled you over, so you were cuddled up to his front. His hands found your hair again, trailing through strands, twisting them round his fingers as he breathed.
“I’m here Kylo.”
I’m always here.
