Iris sat at her workbench goggles adorning her head magnifying lenses letting those eyes see down into the internals of her gauntlets. It always looked simple enough on the outside but she had to have some things regulating the heat the metal would produce when charged, or just letting the charge go through them.
A small sigh as she set the small tools down and reached over to stroke Artemis behind the ears. One of the few times she let the cub up onto her desk, having a small bowl of prepared meat for her to munch on and distract her from messing with the parts. That usual upbeat attitude seemed drained from the young woman as she let out another sigh, trying to focus back on the task at hand, it was late and she was feeling those all too familiar pangs of restlessness or maybe just loneliness.
