A colored sketch of handsome Linus, a presumed GSD x Podenco Canario cross. ♡ This was commissioned to resemble one of my more recent doggust sketches, but we did a few subtle changes to make it just a bit different.
This was actually a very special drawing, since I've met Linus already in 2014 in our local shelter and took a couple pics of him back then. A few years later I saw Linus again when I took Bats to a local dog school and since he looks pretty unique I instantly recognized him. You simply can't mistake those incredible ears :D At the time I would sometimes take my big camera along to take pics of the doggos, and then sent some of them to Linus' new owner along with one of the older ones. And by now, both Linus and Bats are grandpas with white faces ❤️ and I'm so grateful for the opportunities to cross paths with Linus now and then over the years, even if just briefly. It's truly something special to have been asked to immortalize him in this way 🙏❤️
