Okay so here’s the thing. That relationship is in an AU sooo it’s slightly different than canon, BUT it doesn’t mean that his affection for his brother is any less.

Sasuke was and is a spoiled boy, he basically got anything he wanted as long as his brother did the job he does. Due to this same job his brother never had much time for him, but sasuke always looked up to him nonetheless, and WANTED to spend time with him. Now that he’s older he’s looking for that contact himself. And here’s where Naruto comes waltzing in and snatches all his brother’s attention. He is HIS brother (sasuke is rather possessive over itachi) and what’s more is that Naruto is his best friend. He basically loses two persons at once, and he doesn’t have that many to spare as it is. (Of course he doesn’t actually lose them, it just feels that way.)

He doesn’t need to see PDA, but he’s overreacting most of the time. He’ll get over it, especially because that happens. ABOUT WHICH HE IS TOTALLY MAD THAT ITACHI TOLD NARUTO AND NOT HIM, but he’s too heartbroken to argue about it so yeah..
