Honestly the more I read Boruto the more I know this sequel was meant for Sasuke and Sakura’s kid

Wether sarada been a boy or girl, it didn’t matter, because all the background info and connections all relate more to her.

Take this karma symbol and compare it to tsunade and Sakura’s symbol, even the manga makes a hint there’s a relation between these two things.

You know who is related more to Sakura and tsunade? Sarada

The fact that Boruto is sasuke’s student and Naruto’s son but does not want to be a Hokage. Guess who has that same connection? Sarada, she’s sasuke’s daughter and wants to be Hokage and could be Naruto’s student like kawaki.

Guess who has ancient alien blood beside Boruto? Sarada.

Making Sarada the main of the new story would also have resolve the stigma the Uchiha face. How? By becoming the first recognized Uchiha for the title of Hokage.

The fact that kishimoto even made a ten chapter manga on her rather than on Boruto speaks volumes.

But we got Boruto because we couldn’t get a Female shonen lead, and we didn’t get Sasuke having a son because it would take from Boruto as a protagonist.

Had we had a male Sarada, we would have gotten an Uchiha centric manga
