Welcome to the Home of Tuiwon Creations

As we near ever closer to revealing our first project, I decided it would be a good idea to properly introduce everyone to this blog and the people behind it. 

My alias is Tuiwil, and my partner in crime goes by Saewon, both elvish names if you were curious! (Are we showing our nerdiness sufficiently enough yet?) For those of you who know us personally, you’ll know that we are best friends who share just about every interest in media with each other. It was some fateful Sunday over two months ago that we stumbled upon EXO, a vastly successful and popular kpop band from South Korea (plus one Chinese member!), and it would be an understatement to say that we simply fell in love with nine dorks. (Thanks Scarlet Heart: Ryeo; you may have smashed our hearts against a brick wall countless times, but you introduced us to Baekhyun, and by extension EXO, and that made all the pain more than worth it.) 

As the only way we know how to show our love and appreciation for these boys, we decided to delve into some creative ventures together! That’s where this blog comes in to play. Anything we may come up with in the future will be archived here for all of you to enjoy! Curious as to what these “creative ventures” will consist of? Well, I will tell you a big portion is going to be of covers that Saewon and I do together. We have several recordings lined up, alongside multiple songs that we want to learn and sing for you guys. Saewon is skilled enough with Sony Vegas to compose everything in such a way that is beyond kickass, and I only hope that we do these boys and all their infinite talent justice. If you were wondering, the covers we do are going to be the Korean versions of EXO’s songs, just because we both lean towards that side of things a bit more (and possibly because trying to learn romanized Mandarin is about the most impossible thing I’ve ever tried in my life; give me romanized Korean any day of the week please and thank you). With that being said, we may delve into a few Japanese versions of songs solely for the fact that Saewon is actually in the process of learning Japanese at this time, which makes it infinitely easier for her than the Korean versions we’ve been attempting. (Seriously go flood her with praise, because she’s been confusing some of the Korean and Japanese language subtleties that my ignorant self has not had to deal with even once.) 

As for things outside of covers, please look forward to crack edits, art, and writing endeavors that will only be spectacular. (I’m allowed to brag on behalf of Saewon who is the mastermind behind 90% of this stuff, and guys let me tell you her talent is boundless.) We may also post some more casual things on our YouTube channel, like unboxings and reaction videos and vlogs of our potential future concert adventures, if that’s something you guys would be interested in. Basically this is going to be a collective home for anything original that we make in regards to EXO, so if you’re into that kind of thing, stick around! 

Our ask and submit boxes will always be open as well, so if you’re ever curious to learn more about us personally, you’re welcome to inquire. I can really only speak for myself in this regard, but I’m willing to divulge quite a bit about myself and my interests. I also luckily have the time to do such, so never feel as if you’re being intrusive in any way. We hope you all come to love the stuff we make as much as we’ve been enjoying making it. This will only ever be a place of utmost positivity and love towards a few Korean and Chinese boys that have easily made their way into the hearts of many, us included.
