Not tagging cuz I don’t want haters.

But I just gotta say:

Rhett and Link are the only ones navigating this right. They’re supporting Palestine through a non-partisan international charity with a 95% on charity navigator. They keep their comments to an absolute minimum and when they do comment they are exclusively talking about harm reduction and protecting children and are avoiding blaming civilians on either side for the ongoing troubles. They are also supporting local charities and addressing issues in their own towns. And they aren’t forcing their staff to support one side or the other. They also waited a long time before doing any form of fundraising at all, which tells me they spent that time talking with their visibly Jewish and Muslim staff about how to handle this appropriately.

Also, shout out to Stevie and Josh and Nicole for not hiding their Jewishness in this time. It’s been really really nice to see such wildly diverse, proudly Jewish Jews not silenced because of the issues going on around them. Man. The Mythical team has been bringing me a lot of solace lately and has been really excellent at leading the charge of how to help without making things worse for anyone.
