Read your documents everywhere with your iPad
Just got my iPad and play around, I found it is really useful to read document in any place at any time. so today I would like to share how I am using my iPad.
First, I am using SafeSync service to backup and synchronous my documents among the PCs in my workplace and my home. All the documents are in the cloud. SafeSync is very useful in backup and sync-up files. I got several G bytes files in SafeSync. Although it also supports iOS app, to be honest, they are not so useful. So, the next problem is how do I read the document from SafeSync?
I tried to install GoodReader, I heard it is a very good tool to read different document formats, like ppt, doc and PDF. When I launched GoodReader, I noticed there is a button “Connect to servers”, with that function, GoodReader is very cool to support several data transfer protocols to download files by default. For example it supports dropbox and sugarsync, but unfortunately not includes SafeSync. But I found it supports webDav protocol, and I know SafeSync is also based on WebDav. So I tried the following steps, and it works!! And I would like to share this in my blog.
Type SafeSync’s WebDAV https address: dav.SafeSync.com, and your SafeSync account/password.
Then done! A SafeSync folder is created, and you can open the folder by selecting it, then you will see your all files, and able to download it.
