Koochie's Safety Flooring KooSAFE brings to you a fascinating range of playground safety tiles that are specifically designed and manufactured specially for outdoor play areas. KooSAFE tiles are manufactured in our state of the art plant in Taiwan.
KooSAFE tiles takes the form of a two layer square tile with faces designed to come together with a patented 'X' Lock interlocking device. Our safety surfaces have been tested according to the international standards namely BS 7188 and BS EN 1177 and have passed the requirements of critical fall height, flammability, durability, slip resistance and indentation.
Koochie strongly advocates the use of it's flooring along with its playground equipment as this brings about a safe, hygienic and durable complete play area. Koochie's safety tiles are specially engineered to ensure that the top layer does not wear out like most another run of the mill products do.
We are aware of the importance of safety within playground construction and for this very reason, our non-slip playground safety surface is made up of two layers; pigmented layer on top and coarser back layer as the bottom. Both of them are made from rubber shred but specially engineered to provide a soft cushion in the event of a fall. OUR SAFETY TILES ARE AMONGST THE SOFTEST IN THE WORLD WHILE STILL ACCOMMODATING ALL CRITICAL FALL HEIGHT TESTS AS PER EN, ASTM & OTHER GLOBAL STANDARDS. While our tiles were originally designed as outdoor playground surfacing, these patented 'X' Lock interlocking safety tiles are now widely used for nearly every type of applications where falls and injuries are likely to occur including swim parks, outdoor and indoor gyms, sports courts, zip lines, skateboard parks, and rock climbing walls. In addition, our rubber safety surfaces can also be used for decks, stairways, patios, pool areas, sports courts, walkways and areas needing sound and heat reduction.
