I had to give some thought about this one and here's what I got so far.

Blackinnon headcanons:

Sirius Black is often portrayed as being a Casanova which I disagree with. Being handsome and reasonably intelligent and having one girl in Snape's Worst Memory staring at him doesn't mean he messed around with a lot of girls. I think that he would date a handful of people, but his emotionally instability as a result of his family would influence his ability to have a healthy relationship.

Personally, I can see Blackinnon getting together during Hogwarts and working out, but I can ALSO see them being one of those "Second Chance" kind of couples because Sirius might not have been mature enough as a teenager to know what he had when he was with Marlene the first time.

For Marlene I've always thought of blonde hair and blue eyes. Pureblood, but not one of the Sacred Twenty Eight and I don't see her parents as being extremists the way the Blacks or Malfoys are.

I do deviate from canon because for me if we look at canon Blackinnon then they're basically star crossed lovers in the sense that Marlene dies and Sirius goes to Azkaban so in a perfect alternate world, both of them make it out of the war with some scars (physical and emotional) but help each other heal

I like the idea of Sirius not really knowing what to do with her at first because she's not a girl who is impressed by his name or his money. I kinda HC her being best friends with James first and then having a friends to lovers relationship with Sirius.

In my head, Marlene is basically an OC with a set name so I accept a bunch of headcanons when it comes to her. Which is why sometimes I just use OCs because honestly some of my stories get more traction with an OC (Cherish) than with Marlene (maybe it's because the newer Marauder fandom has such strong ideas of shipping Marlene with Lily, Mary, or literally anyone except Sirius idk)

Yes. I do plan to finish Eclipse. It's a pretty short fic (I'm planning on 3 chapters total). I'm currently exploring a bunch of different possible options for Unspeakable work since HP canon is pretty vague about what their work entails. I'm kinda leaning toward spy work. Sort of going for a forced proximity to lovers angle? Kind of.

Do you plan to write more Blackinnon or Jily stories in the future? Because I love your writing, it's beautiful. You write each couple wonderfully. I just found your work and it's incredible.

Yes. I'm currently writing this month's Jily Challenge so it'll be released in a few days (the theme is Medieval).

I like writing Blackinnon, but I've also been dabbling in Sirius x OC. Since there's so little known about Marlene other than headcannons, she's essentially an OC.

I'm trying to finish up my longer current fics before I start chasing down my other plot bunnies. Currently I have a lot of "in progress" stories - All We Ever Wanted, Faultlines, Lily Evans: Hogwarts Champion (Favorite To Die), Eclipse, Sixteen, one of the Brave.

Hoping to finish up All We Ever Wanted and then work on the Triwizard one some more along with Eclipse.
