I think the hardest part for me about the Voltron age discourse, is that for all the other fandoms it's never been this much of an issue. A) Harry fucking Potter. Snamione(?) and Snarry was and still are huge ships. I personally hate Snape but I never hated on other ships or called it out. A lot of people didn't, in fact a lot of people didn't really care that they wrote smut fics for the 4th book. If anyone was going to fight the sexualized minor discourse this would have been the time to do it. Like shit, Voltron characters are at least older then all 6th year Hogwarts students and if that don't put it into fucking prospective. B) Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe. All of these have their own discourse but nothing has drove a wedge between sides quite like the Voltron fandom has. (Not to mention all the weird ass dipper art I have ever seen) No ones going to read this, but if you're going to double standard fandoms a least talk about other ones as well. Don't harass each other, if you don't like a persons opinions or ships. Unfollow, there was a post about your dash is only what you want it to be. Take it to heart. I want to write more but I don't have my computer with me and I'm on mobile and I've seen nothing but hate all over my dash. That's just my small input on the matter.
