starter for: @carinagarcia & @camilagvrcia location: she loves me
There were few people who had such an adverse reaction to Marcus as Cam Garcia. Sure, lots of people disliked the guy and often wouldn’t be super ecstatic to see him, but none reacted quite so strongly to his presence as the florist. And Marcus, well, maybe he was a glutton for punishment, maybe he enjoyed pressing people’s buttons, or maybe, just maybe, he was bored. There was also a small part of him that had been set so off-kilter by the insanely honest and deep conversation he’d had with that beautiful stranger at the ball that he felt like he needed to restore some balance to his life. Make sure at least some things were still the same.
So on this sunny afternoon, he found himself making his way to She Loves Me in the hopes of getting at least a somewhat entertaining response to asking Cam if he could buy her a bouquet of her favorite flowers. As he opened the door to the shop, and the smell of flowers washed over him, he glanced around, eyes seeking out the familiar brunette head of hair. Instead, they landed on the other Garcia and Marcus’s lips pulled upwards in a smirk. Carina hated his guts almost as much as Cam did. He was about to walk up to the younger Garcia and make some sort of comment, when he realized she wasn’t alone. A beautiful little girl was standing at her feet, looking up at Carina as she asked a question Marcus couldn’t hear. He waited a moment before approaching, “Well, I didn’t realize She Loves Me was under new management.” he spoke up, mostly looking at Carina. But then he crouched down a bit so that he was closer to eye level with the little girl. “Hello there, I must say I’m excited to see what you do with the place.”
