from: a wealthy town in Utah, moved to Tulsa in August of 65’, lives in the greaserhood

personality: dumb, ditzy, kind, sympathetic, very energetic at times, friendly, cries easily and gets over it easily, very sweet

bio family: James Turner (father), Rosemary Turner (late mother), Abel Turner (older brother)

affiliation: dresses like a soc, but lives in the greaserhood. doesn’t want a label but people insist on her having one, gets made fun of for it

hair: golden blonde curls that go to the middle of her back, has a new hairstyle almost every day

eyes: big doe eyes that are hazel/green

nose: roman/greek

teeth: little gap between her two front

moles/freckles: lots of moles and freckles, especially on her face and back (she loves to sun bathe)

tally owens (best friend): her first friend in Tulsa, basically her ride or die and would do anything for her. tally sneaks in kathys bedroom window while she’s sleeping and will just sleep on the floor when things are rough at home. kathy doesn’t question it, she just makes her waffles when she realizes she’s there.

sage willows (friend): another one of her first friends she made, they don’t talk as much because sage gets nervous around her but they’re still close

rocky millard (friend): met him through tally and school, kathy was surprisingly intimidated by him but eventually got used to him and won’t leave him alone

steve randle (crush/bf): steve was the first one who caught feelings for kathy, they met on the first day of school and tally took kathy to the DX and he was head over heels. he doesn’t like to admit how soft he’s gotten, the gang teases him a bunch about it, kathys too clueless to know that he likes her. they start dating about 4 months after they meet and are so affectionate it’s gross.

gloria sheldon (another best friend): they immediately bonded as soon as they met. since two bit and gloria are dating, they’re determined to get steve and kathy together. kathy needs a lot of extra help realizing from gloria. when steve and kathy do get together, they all have double dates, with a very reluctant steve. gloria and kathy have way too many sleepovers, staying up late talking in their matching pjs. they watch a lot of movies too. (I like to think neither gloria or kathy shut up during movies, so they just talk the whole time lmao)

abel turner (older brother) absolutely adores him. she was like his tiny shadow. when he left, she kept a little heart locket that abel gave her. kathy keeps a whole shoebox full of pictures of them. (she’s a collector of many things lol) they eventually cross paths again when kathy is 16 and in Tulsa. Kathy doesn’t notice, but Abel does. (Weasel and the Wanderer)
