This Maple Sage Grilled Chicken recipe combines the sweet taste of maple syrup with the earthy taste of fresh sage to make a tasty and fragrant dish. This dish is great for a summer barbecue or a cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add olive oil, chopped sage, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to a small bowl. Use a whisk to mix the ingredients together. Put chicken breasts in a shallow dish and cover them with the marinade. Turn to cover all sides. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours with the lid on. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the extra marinade. Cook the chicken on the grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's done and the juices run clear. Once done, take it off the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
