Enjoy the classic taste of a homemade burger with juicy beef patties, melted cheddar cheese, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for a backyard barbecue!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 slices of tomato. 4 slices of red onion. 4 pickle slices. Ketchup and mustard for topping.
Instructions: Warm up the grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat. Put ground beef, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Mix slowly. Make 4 burger patties out of the beef mixture that are all the same size. Put the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking. Toast the buns on the grill for a minute or two until they are lightly browned while the burgers are cooking. Put lettuce leaves, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickle slices on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. When the patties are done, put them on top of the vegetables. Then, add ketchup and mustard to taste. Put the top bun on top of the burger and serve right away.
