🍓 how did you get into writing fanfiction?

i was 14 and wanted to kiss an anime boy. i still like said anime boy.

🍇 how many fandoms have you written in?

five of them — prince of tennis, mcu, ace attorney, xmen, and series that should not be named. i orphaned that fic almost a decade ago.

🥝 how many years have you been writing fanfiction?

15 years. i wrote very sporadically for a few years leading up to 2024. then deadpool and wolverine jumpstarted my brain again last year.

🍎 do you read or write more fanfiction?

i definitely read more. i know i have stuff i need to post but i am trying.

🍌 what is one way you’ve improved as a writer?

i think i have become more descriptive and to the point than i used to be some 10-12 years ago. i still struggle with it but i know i'm improving. :)

🍑 do you have any bad habits as a writer?

i get super distracted very easily and i have 53 wips in my folder (i just checked).

🍍 what’s the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

not too sure if this is the weirdest, but i was looking up birth control in the 1910-1930s for my oc fic with logan LOL

🍉 what’s your favorite type of comment to receive on your work?

maybe something along the lines of why i choose to write something or someone a particular way. i love all comments though, even if it's just AAAAAAAAAA because i do that too.

🍐 what’s the most fringe trope/topic you write about?

i tend to do this in longer fics, but i like bringing in something from the way i've been brought up into my writing, be it food or a festival, or anything really. i'm a third culture kid and i don't ever feel like i belong anywhere, so i like using that experience in my writing.

🍑 what is the hardest type of story for you to write?

i weirdly cannot write angst unless there's a happy ending. one day i do want to write something which isn't....deceptive fluff.

🍏 what is the easiest type?

fluff and crack. i love writing crack fic so much hehehe.

🍑 where do you do your writing? what platform? when?

i write on pages. yes the ios/mac/icloud app pages. it just syncs so well and i can write on any device at hand at any point of time. i have been looking into using ellipsus as well and i like it so far, but i would enjoy having an offline app that syncs with the online version.

🍋 what is something you’ve been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

filthy smut HEHEHEHEHE. it's scary and i'm intimidated, but someday i would like to write it.

🍇 what made you choose your username?

oh i've definitely said this before — it's from tezuka kunimitsu (my best boy from prince of tennis) being shortened to tezook for a discord emote. and the s is just my initial lol.

when did you start writing? 

i think maybe the christmas after i turned 14? i distinctly remember writing prince of tennis fanfiction back in 9th grade lol

what fic do you wish could get a little more love? 

any of them really! i love all my published fics bc that's the result i'm happy with after days or weeks or months or even years of writing 😌 find them here: masterlist and ao3 (please log in if you can't see them, else i can give you an ao3 invite?)

first famous or fictional crush? 

i think every desi kid's first famous crush is shah rukh khan lmao. and i think everyone online and irl knows my first fictional crush is tony stark. but there's a few who know it to be hugh jackman's gabriel van helsing hehehehehe

how open are you to people irl about your writing? 

last time i opened up about writing fanfics, my ex friends never read them. and back in january, my sister basically shit on me for telling her i write fanfic and i could use my brilliant brain to do something else. so fuck no, i'm tired of telling people irl i write fic.

what is a mundane fact about you? 

i'm a commercial passenger plane nerd haha
