Of course something was eventually going to go wrong. Also of course his younger twin had to go with his hero complex and get himself hurt rather than stop and think for a few seconds that it would have needed to think of a better plan than step in and get hurt. Sai felt bad for leaving Alyssa to go deal with his brother soo to make it up he wanted to at least have a proper meeting. There was a nice cafe that was recommended to him that did cute cakes and good coffee. As Alyssa approached Sai stood up. “Sorry for just running off I got a message that Kai had decided to get in a fight in the midst of the holy water attack,” luckily Kai came out with broken ribs and a bruised ego and nothing worse. “He’s fine. An idiot but fine,” he added. “How are you?” he asked.

“Hey, if you see Kai tell him he needs to rest and not work,” he spoke as he walked into the bar. Of course he knew that Ace had to work as well so couldn’t always keep an eye on him. The attack pissed him off in general but he did not need the added stress of his brother getting tangled up in it. “been looking at the books and since the bloodtails conception here were definitely making more. Enough to easily get another bartender on the busier shifts. What do you think?” he asked. Sai then realised as per usual he went straight into business rather than ask how she was. “How are things with you?” he asked as he grabbed a can of Red Bull.

Okay, so Sai thought while Alastair was occupied he could do the challenge that that was set for this year. Kai had to have no sex today and he had to talk to a stranger. Because he was sure as hell not going to lose the challenge and face whatever Kai wanted him to do. He was not the most sociable and something like this would make him feel awkward. He was‘nt going into crowds so when he saw a red head looking at the anti-gravity thing that the air coven was going on. Sai decided she seemed best to approach and would hopefully not give him a hard time doing so. “You thinking of trying it?” he asked trying to imitate his more professional tone than his normal ‘why are you approaching me?’ tone.

As the older witch approached him Sai put out his hand for him to shake it. “I’m Sai, my brother said you had need of my services?” he asked. Wondering where this job may lead him. When he was on a job it was easy enough to leave his awkward energy behind. With the job he knew what he was doing. With relationships and emotions... not so much.

Bloodtails have done the place a lot of good. Sure, the bar was a front but it was still a business and a successful one at that. Particularly the vampires, but when most of their employees were vampires it kind of made sense to cater to them. It kind of inspired some thoughts towards cocktails catered to other species as well. Kai had his speciality teas which could be incorporated into some of the drinks giving a weaker but still potionlike effects. Sai was covering tonight. Since he would be sure as hell not to let Kai cover after his incident so he can rest properly. As a patron came on his heart eyes looked over to them. She was well dressed and fairly attractive. “What can I get for you tonight?” he asked. “Are you having a good evening?" He asked, remembering Kai giving him that pointer in the past.

Sai though gifted someones needed to be on premise to get to the systems he needed. Some where very good at their perimeter security. When it was a time pressured job he sometimes would go on site. This time it was a bar so he was drinking to make himself seem less suspicious while gently prodding the wireless system with his internal computer. He wasn’t doing anything that would get him caught it was just a sweep so he can then use the results to work the best plan of action. He needed a cover though since being on his own looked a little suspicious. This was the part he hated the most. He hated lying but in this case it was to buy time. He turned to the man next to him. “I’ll get you a drink if you join me and stop me looking like a loser,” well it wasn’t a lie, just not exactly the truth either.
