can someone help me with a sai texture?

I made a texture (the kind that goes in the blotmap folder). it's grayscale, 256*256 pixels, .bmp, i put it into the right folder and .conf file, the only difference i can find between it and all the other textures is that for some reason it's 192 kb, while all the other ones are 65 or 64.8 kb... can anyone help me? :(
