At long last, Saiboku face reveal to end off the year! Shomatsu's already ahead of him on the celebrating, but he's not complaining, he gets to watch her have fun

A glimpse in the past!! Young Shomatsu and Saiboku flirting!! Sai was definitely the more obviously interested one when they first started getting to know each other, while Sho was a little more reserved because she couldn't pin down his personality. So big but so quiet!! This would be a moment had after an attack while they were out on delivery

For many years, Shomatsu has been collecting weapon blueprints and designs from other countries and locations for her own curiosity, and also to incorporate them into her repertoire of creations. Her weapon of choice is a falchion-like blade, whereas Saiboku wields a two-headed great axe. Both of them adorned their weapons with various prayer and warding slips/charms. While they can hold their own against demons better than most regular smiths, they're definitely not trained like the slayers are. It helps give them a slight edge in any combat situation they find themselves in during deliveries; at least enough to stave them off in the moment

Two new OCs!!! Meet Shōmatsu and Saiboku, a swordsmith couple!

While both are expert smiths, they eash have specialties they're known for. Shō specializes in unique nichirin weapons aside from the usual katanas (think axes and polearms, or like Tengen's swords and Gyomei's flail). Sai specializes in weapon alterations and detail work (etchings, design, even additions that assist an impeded wielder)

Shōmatsu was heavily inspired by Eda from The Owl House, and is absolutely the "idgaf Im awesome" older lady that has her cake and eats it too

Saiboku is a large man of few words, but he's very gentle and well loved by the community and especially the children! He's very secretive about his face, even his wife has rarely seen him without it on
