Thinking about how Date's intense hatred for all the regulations keeping the police in check (most prominently directed at Ota, but also seen in his utter revulsion towards the mere concept of a warrant and ABIS's tendency to strongarm people into consenting to a confusing brain procedure or straight up drugging and kidnapping them) actually fits really really well with his past

I mean, I feel like we as a people don't talk enough about the fact that even before being a mob assassin he was straight up a vigilante serial killer

(Also thinking about how he and Saito were both Rohan's attack dogs, just one was for business and one was for pleasure)
