Low Temperature Blanket Chapter 6

Hi everyone!

After a looong looooooong (2 years, 5 months, 24 days to be exact) hiatus for this scanlation project, we’re finally back with the next chapter. Hooray!

Sadly life commitments on several fronts have been quite demanding on my time these past 2 years but I would like to state that I’m fully committed to my finishing my scanlation projects no matter how long it takes. 💪

So! What have Daisuke and Houichi been getting up to? Well, we’d better quickly revisit where we left off; in chapter 5 we discovered that Daisuke’s cute and fiesty ex-girlfriend Kaori is still in love with him. Just as Kaori was pouring her heart out to Daisuke, who was trying to console her, Houichi walked in and saw them! Shocked and confused, Houichi dashed off in Kurosawa’s car which brings us up to the present. Will Houichi finally be able to understand how he feels about Daisuke? And will Daisuke be able to explain the misunderstanding? Read chapter 6 to find out. ^^

Low Temperature Blanket by Kunieda Saika

Hi everyone,

Today it is my pleasure to announce a new project by one of my all time favourite mangaka! :D

Kunieda Saika sensei’s comedy “Low Temperature Blanket” is about luckless student Daisuke, who has the misfortune to fall in love with the unfathomable and utterly useless Houichi. Join us on this humourous, turbulent , and ultimately heart-warming ride, as Daisuke tries to navigate the adventures of growing into a young adult.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the scanlation group Bushido Angels. They scanlated many of Kunieda-sensei’s works and made it possible for so many fans to fall in love with her charming, unique style. Thank you guys so much!

The first chapter in this story was initially released as a oneshot which was also scanlated by Bushido Angels. Kunieda-sensei continued the story to 2 full volumes. For the sake of completeness, I’ve added the new content from the first volume (new cover, summary, forward, insert, contents page) to the original Bushido Angels release.

Many thanks to our new members Oushinbee, Conn and nemesia for dedicating their time and effort to this project. You guys are awesome! ^^

Hidden Flowers

Hi everybody. ^^

Today’s release is an enchanting oneshot called “Hidden Flowers” (Himerareta Hana) by Kunieda Saika. Here is a short description:

“Deep in the mountains, a man wakes up to discover he is trapped on a ledge with little water and no memory of who he is. His only companion is a mysterious boy who may not be entirely human…”

Sensei is one of my all time favourite mangaka so I’m really delighted I was able to work on this project. ^^
