Love Every Word is now going to have one younger sibling! Joining the party is another warrior fighting for love, Sailor Script! A shortening for the name Sailor Moon Script, Sailor Script will have both similar structure - and purpose - to its elder counterpart. It will be a Twitter bot account that makes posts to go onto its own page. Automated code will allow this Twitter account to take text, line from line, out of this hit show's television script, and share it with the rest of the world live (at timed intervals)! It may not be clear, but the direct translation of the Japanese dialogue, or the Viz rerelease, will be not be this account's subject matter. The bot shall read out what is said on-screen in companies DIC and Cloverway's production of the Sailor Moon English dub, aired years ago! It did take me a substantial amount of time to get a hold of enough episode closed-captioning transcripts to make this bot project feasible, but the efforts were worth it. I for one prefer the classic dub's whimsical writing and sense of humor. Work on this account has not yet been fully completed, but enough has been done that on Friday, a special demo run shall take place to kick things off! There's still so much more text content to format, but the show's opening lyrics are one of the things that have been fully looked over. The two dozen-or-so lines of text that make up the season 1 opening are ready to be tweeted, so in less than a day those will be launched, before the bot fully launches about a week later, on June 30th.
