Multiple choice question for my mutuals: Write, Plot, Lurk, or all of the above?
See, I’d throw all three icons back in your direction and I feel a little bad about it. One, I get very excited when I see other anime and/or game characters I recognize on here! My tastes are usually reserved for older/classic anime, visual novels, and otome games. I’m not very familiar with most recent anime (and by recent, I mean most things that have come out in the past 15 years). Two, Code: Realize is my favorite otome. And three, historical AUs are my top AU thread weakness. I love putting Sonia in various time periods, whether it’s a close interpretation of history or a bit loose, such as the steampunk and fantastical elements in C:R. I also very much enjoy writing drama and ships with a side of comedy and some angst, when appropriate.
So when you sent me an ask, I had to get a bit wordy and headcanon-filled with my reply.
Basically, what I’m trying to say to my mutuals is this: if my writing style is ever too hard to reply to, overwhelming, or you just want to try something else, please let me know! If you just want some more time to think about your reply but you want to continue writing, that’s just fine too! I just have more muse for certain interactions/threads/verses than others, and sometimes it can be a lot to read and respond to.

it was dark, it was hard to tell where they were. but they could here voices... many voices. they didn't understand what they were saying, but they were scared. and then....
the cloth was removed from the tank.
the siren closed their eyes from the brightness, squinting their eyes to focus on the many faces that stared to them in awe. there was a man beside the tank speaking something they didn't understand but they could see people in the crowds start lift signs every now and then, placing their bids to buy the strange creature.
@saintg starter for Hansel :>
Ciri had once thought that London, the great city of steal and steam, had something special to offer to her. After a few months, it’d became clear to her that the place is as unforgiving to penniless foreigners as any other place. If not more so.
Jobs never pay enough, and she never manages to hold one for long. What little money is earned is spent easily. Some days she has to resort to stealing, to give herself some reprieve, which is what she's doing today. The streets are lively as ever. Apparently there is some sort of festival or market going on. The people are happy, distracted. It doesn’t take her long to spot an especially crowded stall, surrounded by little children whining for their favorite candy, with a hopelessly overwhelmed owner. Sweet food is not her first choice, but as they say -- beggars can’t be choosers. Even for her, it is easy to approach unnoticed and reach for one of the candied apples. But before she can snatch it away, her hand bumps into that of someone else. Someone who, she assumes, is in fact planning to pay.
'Oh, um...' Visibly startled, she freezes up. It would be better to dash off ( but she’s slow to react today ), or smoothly cover up her blunder with a lie ( but that has never been her forte ). Eyes darting around, she shoves the candied apple in the hand of the young man, hoping he hasn’t noticed her intentions. '..d-did you want this one, eh, i'm sorry, sir,--'

It was a sunny day, the sort that smelled rather humid and musty and made everything slow, foggy, heavy. Sunlight shined through a smudged window, and the bright green eyes of a lone figure were fixed out of it.
Long silver hair, hanging loose about her. A long dark dress, sleeves to her wrists. No bag of any sort with her -- just her When spoken to, she looked up -- slowly, like awakening from some sort of dream.
She didn’t recognize him immediately... perhaps she hadn’t met him in any previous cycles... mm...
“No.” Voice quiet but clear. After the singular answer, her eyes wandered back to the window. If only she could see the moon...
@saintg replied: I'M HOWLING WITH LAUGHTER RIGHT NOW LMAO OMG
Let the man cook okay? It makes him happy. Everyone is denying him joy. asdfghjkl
